It’s been a while… where do I start!?….

Well.. hi!

I looked up when I last blogged and I believe it was around November time! πŸ™ˆ I can’t believe that! I feel so much has happened and that life is rushing by!

Anyway, how was YOUR Christmas and New Year?

Life has been ermm… quite interesting over the last month or so, some good and some not so good. But, isn’t that the same for everybody?

We moved (again) into a lovely flat that overlooks water which is what I love looking out on. I really feel a sense of calm.

My writing desk looks out over this view, nice eh?

The book (Meet Me At 10) is doing well and continues to sell copies pretty much everyday. I still get a buzz when I see our sales for the day! Thank you so much to everybody who has bought and read a copy.

We were lucky enough to go back on Radio Diva in London just before Christmas. The hosts Heather Peace and Rosie Wilby were lovely as always. We are so grateful to Diva Magazine publisher Linda Riley for sorting it out. Heather, Rosie and Linda are all on twitter so give them a follow πŸ™‚

Between Christmas and New Year, we were very lucky to have been invited to Beechwood Hotel in Norfolk as VIP guests (love the power of twitter!). My goodness, what lovely people Hugh and Emma were to us. Here is a pic of them:

We were totally looked after and we did spot a couple of copies of our book in one of the lounges! So when you visit, look out for them (they are signed by Claire and myself)

The other staff were also so friendly, but don’t get me started on the Afternoon Tea- it was AMAZING!

Here is another pic. The bed was sooooo comfy, talk about sink into it… zzzzz zzz

So if you are visiting Norfolk, be sure to stay there, or at least have an afternoon tea! πŸ‘πŸ»

The beginning of January saw us visit Suffolk (and one of our favourite ever places!) Badwell Ash Holiday lodge. We were HOPING to get lots of writing done, or at least plan our next book (‘Shona’ ; the prequel to Meet Me At 10) but guess what… I came down with the cold/flu that’s been going round. We did get some work done at least.

To be fair, there are worst places than a luxury log cabin with a hot tub to be when you are feeling ill ! Haha…

Penny and Tony (the owners) are so friendly, it literally feels like going home. You get a big hamper on arrival:

But I would recommend bringing some basics with you, but this hamper will last a good couple of days.

We stay in Woodpecker lodge- always. So when you book, I recommend that one.

Let me know when you’re going!

That’s the short version of what’s been going on!

I’m so motivated for 2018, there’s more books to come out, book awards to enter, some talks to do that we have been invited to do, some travel has been booked to tick off more of the bucket list adventures! Plus some personal goals to achieve.

What are YOUR goals for 2018? Let me know…

Speak soon,
