For some reason, I didn’t get to sleep until around 1.30am, second time on the trot..
My house phone needed charging so it was beeping and woke me up at 5.30am, I was messaging my lovely friend Suji who is on holiday in America, then checking emails so couldn’t get back to sleep.
But I was sooooo tired… 😴😴😴
I had some boring stuff to do (things for my Degree course) but could hardly keep my eyes open.
Today was one of the hardest days for motivation to go out for a run, I genuinely just wanted to crawl back under the duvet.
I knew I’d regret it.
The weather was nice so I headed out to my usual park to see if I could beat where I’d got to yesterday, but as I pulled up, there were loads of people watching a footbal match, there was NO WAY I was going to plod round the park with witnesses watching me go slower than a snail!
I cowardly pulled away and went back home via tesco to have lunch.
I read the Sunday papers as always, then headed back out, nobody around- perfect.
I sorted out my playlist on my phone and off I went….
I got around 100 metres further than yesterday which I was chuffed with.
Today was the first day I can actually say I enjoyed it. I didn’t have shoe problems, insole problems, just a bit of tight muscles, but I’ll take that…
Is it wrong that I’m thinking ‘Looking forward to tomorrow’s run’ …?
Have a good day peeps 😊
